They have especially loved the weather books, as we have just started a weather module. They have loved learning about how our atmosphere effects the day to day weather. \r\n They are also excited to get to read all the bug books when we start learning about insects in the spring. I know they are going to love them! My students this year are so curious about everything in their world around them. They have really loved being able to get their hands on some Non-Fiction books. \r\n My students favorite way to read our new books is with a buddy on the carpet. They love to look at all the pictures together and to learn together through the texts. They love being able to share books with their friends and are always so excited to tell me everything that they have learned. \r\n It has been so fulfilling as a teacher to watch my students love for reading grow. I love watching them get excited over new books. I love that they are finding a love of reading as much as I have. One specific moment that stands out was during our last writing workshop; the classroom was the quietest it has ever been.
