These requested five Fire Tablets with Amazon Kid-Proof Cases will be used in my classroom to help students learn their multiplication tables. The use of several apps in math small groups and individual work will help us achieve the goal of 0-12 multiplication tables in third grade before moving onto fourth grade. Also, students will use the tablets in reading groups. The Fire tablets will give access to books, writing notes, and drawing pictures to communicate. We have a large community of ESL students in our school so the Google Translate app will be used in group work to not only translate but will give students/teacher the ability to communicate where needed. The students will be able to use the Wi-Fi on the tablets when we do research projects. The upcoming year has research for book reports, science projects, and social studies projects.
