The Making Math Meaningful items will benefit my young scholars in numerous ways. Hands-on learning will take their learning away from a textbook or worksheet and make learning math fun! Utilizing manipulative materials enable students to deepen their mathematical thinking skills. Effective instruction with hands-on learning helps students connect mathematical concepts and form concrete ideas from abstractions. Additionally, manipulative items allow students to test their thinking in nonthreatening ways. All students benefit from hands-on learning! The Making Math Meaningful items are not consumable. They will be used for many years to come to aid elementary students' understanding of math concepts.
