My office is a safe space for not just students, but staff as well. The strings lights have created a warm environment. Staff and students have informed me that they enjoy walking into my office and feel very relaxed. \r\n\r\nThe cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, etc.) allows me to sanitize and disinfect my room, as germs can easily spread in a school setting. I always want to assure that the surfaces in my office are clean. My students loved the snacks, especially the graham crackers. Many of the snacks were eating during our Lunch Bunch. \r\n\r\nThe kinetic sand and Zen tray are staple items in my office. The stress balls are therapeutic manipulatives that the students use often when they are frustrated. \r\n\r\nA highlight of mine was reading, Sulwe, by Lupita Nyongo to several of my female students who are dark skinned like me.
