Your kindness has truly made a meaningful difference in our classroom. A strong learning environment begins with students having a safe, comfortable, and dependable place to sit and work—and because of you, my students now have exactly that. I am deeply grateful for your support and for the care you've shown toward my students and our school community.\r\n We are using the desks and chairs all day, every day, and they've immediately improved the way our classroom functions. Students are able to keep their materials organized, settle in quickly, and stay focused longer during lessons. One specific moment that stood out happened during a recent chart worksheet on Google Classroom. Students were engaged and following directions clearly and had ample space to place all of their materials.. With their own space to spread out their graphic organizers, drafts, and reference materials, they were noticeably more engaged and productive. I watched students lean into their work, reread their points, and even ask for peer and teacher help more confidently—because they felt comfortable and ready to learn. It may seem like a simple change, but having the right furniture has made our classroom feel calmer, more structured, and more supportive for every learner.\r\nWhen the desks and chairs arrived, my students were absolutely amazed. Their eyes widened, and the excitement in the room was immediate. Several students said, \"These are for us?\" and \"Now we really have our own classroom!\" They were eager to sit down, try them out, and take ownership of their new learning space. What touched me most was how proud they looked. For some students, having a clean, sturdy desk and a comfortable chair is not something they take for granted. Your donation made them feel valued and seen. It showed them that others believe in them and want them to have what they need to succeed—and that message is powerful.\r\nBecause of your support, we're able to push forward with stronger routines and higher expectations for student learning. Our next steps include finishing our WWII unit as students complete the chart, take notes, and finish homework. We're also beginning a collaborative research project where students will work in teams to gather information, organize their notes, and present what they've learned. The new desks and chairs are already making a difference in how smoothly students can transition into group work, manage their supplies, and remain engaged during longer tasks. These resources don't just improve comfort—they directly support student independence, collaboration, and confidence.\r\nThank you again for investing in my students in such a tangible and lasting way. Your generosity has created a classroom that feels more welcoming, more functional, and more encouraging for learning. Please know that your support is appreciated beyond words, and it will continue to impact my students every day as they learn, grow, and build their futures.\r\n\r\nWith heartfelt gratitude,\r\nKimberly Campbell\r\nHistory Teacher/9th and 10th Grade\r\nSahuarita High School","fullyFundedDate":1767717713095,"projectUrl":"project/project-sit-and-succeed/9909856/","projectTitle":"Project Sit and Succeed","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Campbell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10357515"},{"teacherId":8371669,"projectId":9204214,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support in helping us purchase the I'm Just a Bill costume and a high-quality stapler for our high school government course and dual enrollment college prep class! These resources have made such a positive impact on our classroom already.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the I'm Just a Bill costume, their faces absolutely lit up! There were lots of laughs, and a few students immediately started quoting the classic Schoolhouse Rock song. It will be an awesome tool to use next school year when I teach the legislative branch. \r\n\r\nThe stapler may seem simple, but it's been a game changer.
