My students were very excited when they saw the Science Center equipment. Since we have received it, we have done science experiments every week. Their favorite experiments are Sink or Float and the colored lens. I have witnessed them become more curious and asking more questions now that we have the materials to experiment with.\r\n\r\nMy class does Art projects daily, but with the colored ink pads they are now able to use our extensive set of stamps. We have alphabet and number stamps that we use with the ink pads. The children are learning shapes and numbers while playing at the board. They are developing their fine motor skills while manipulating the attachments which builds muscles to hold writing utensils. \r\n\r\nThe movable rocket busy board helps with these skills as well, but can be moved away from the group when a child is feeling crowded. This also helps when individualizing activities with the children.
