These resources are making our classroom more organized, efficient, and engaging.\r\n\r\n Our class set of LCD tablets has been especially helpful during math lessons. Students use them to solve problems, practice computation, and show their thinking without needing paper and dry-erase markers. The tablets make it easy for everyone to participate, try a problem, erase their work, and try again without worrying about wasting supplies. My students can practice more freely, and I can quickly check their understanding and provide feedback.\r\n\r\n The table organizers have also made a wonderful difference in our daily routines. Students now have a convenient place to keep their shared table supplies, making materials easier to find and helping us spend less time searching for supplies and more time learning.\r\n\r\n My students benefit from having tools that encourage independence, participation, and responsibility. Thank you for investing in our classroom and helping create an environment where students have the resources they need to learn, practice, and succeed!","fullyFundedDate":1787061379195,"projectUrl":"project/stem-access-for-5th-graders/10475445/","projectTitle":"Stem Access for 5th Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kunzler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8279814_orig.jpg?crop=1987,1988,x0,y324&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1642620338040","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8279814"},{"teacherId":8279814,"projectId":10249591,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating math manipulatives to our classroom! These materials are already helping my fifth-grade students build a deeper understanding of math by giving them hands-on ways to explore concepts that can sometimes feel challenging.\r\n\r\n We have been using base-ten blocks to practice place value and addition. Students used the blocks to represent 23 + 7, visually showing how ten ones can be regrouped into a ten. We are also using fraction circles to explore fractions and understand how different pieces represent parts of a whole. Having these materials allows students to see and touch the math rather than just work with numbers on a page.\r\n\r\n My students were excited to use the new materials! They enjoyed building with the blocks, experimenting with different combinations, and explaining their thinking to their classmates. The manipulatives encouraged students to work together, try different strategies, and make connections between concrete models and written equations.\r\n\r\n We will continue using these resources as we tackle more challenging fifth-grade math standards, including multi-digit multiplication, division, and fraction operations. These tools will help students develop confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the math works.\r\n\r\n Thank you for investing in our classroom and helping make math more engaging, accessible, and meaningful for my students. Your generosity is making a difference in the way they learn!","fullyFundedDate":1786318112682,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-making-math-visible/10249591/","projectTitle":"Hands-On: Making Math Visible","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kunzler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8279814_orig.jpg?crop=1987,1988,x0,y324&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1642620338040","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8279814"},{"teacherId":10481069,"projectId":10298890,"letterContent":"I appreciate your help in creating my classroom. The \"You choose\" books are interesting to read and change every time, peaking their interest! The picture books made our American Hero project more accessible to many, The books are easy to read, high interest and full of facts to learn about individuals. \r\n In my classroom we used the books during reading and writing. For reading, we get a few minutes each day to read a book of our choice. For writing, these books helped us research peoples lives and their impact on our lives today. This also crossed into social studies. Many students that have a hard time reading enjoyed these high interest stories. I also had 5 students (this year) choose people featured in these books for these projects. I did not have books on them, so it was a relief for these students to have a resource. These materials have already changed my classroom and will continue to do so.","fullyFundedDate":1773870312025,"projectUrl":"project/turning-pages-shaping-citizens-buildin/10001485/","projectTitle":"Turning Pages, Shaping Citizens: Building a U.S. History Exploration Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kunzler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8279814_orig.jpg?crop=1987,1988,x0,y324&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1642620338040","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8279814"},{"teacherId":9157341,"projectId":9582463,"letterContent":"My students have LOVED getting to experience the trials and errors of trout raising in our classroom. This project has inspired a love for learning within this group that I do not believe would have been possible without it. I have never seen my entire class as engaged in any other lesson this year as they have been with our water parameters, science lessons, and even math projects related to our fish. \r\n\r\nIn addition, it has allowed several of my students to work together in managing water quality without my help. Each of them guides the other as they remember specific steps, required numbers, and in choosing next steps in how to respond when water parameters seem off... Several of my students have returned to school, stating that they want to start their own aquariums, or have begun caring for their new fish at home. \r\n\r\nThe amount of learning that has occurred is amazing. They have learned to read beakers, understand the size of milliliters in comparison to meters, applied their learning about traits influence on survival, and have begun making predictions about which fish will thrive when released compared to those who may not have the qualities to help them survive. \r\nWithout the supplies we needed, our students would not have had the chance to participate in this program this year.","fullyFundedDate":1756499704670,"projectUrl":"project/trout-in-the-classroom-for-3rd-grade/9582463/","projectTitle":"Trout in the Classroom for 3rd Grade!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. H","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9157341_orig.jpg?crop=1239,1239,x717,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755037893697","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9157341"},{"teacherId":9686295,"projectId":9623321,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting my drama specialty classroom! I exhausted my supplies last year so am grateful for the donation of google eyes and pom poms that will be used for this project. The students will be deciding on a subject they could teach to a Kindergarten class like opposites, counting, ABCs, Rhyming, making friends, etc. They then create their own unique puppets for that presentation.
