The week before Christmas was the perfect time for our new class rug, gamer's chairs, and lamination film to come in the mail! The kids thought each package was a gift as they helped me unwrap them. \r\n\r\nSince receiving the flexible seating, the items are VERY well used. We set up a rotation for the kids to take turns using the comfy chairs. They absolutely love rocking in them as they read and are always asking when their turn is. The class rug was a perfect addition to our classroom and has created a warm, cozy, \"family-type\" feeling in our classroom. The kids love to meet me on the carpet to hear their favorite stories read aloud and to share their ideas during our morning meetings and lessons. Also, since there are spots on the rug, each kiddo has their own space that is visually defined (which solves lots of problems with kids getting into each other's space bubbles).\r\n\r\nWe also loved the lamination film that was sent. We have laminated tons of new resources for our new reading curriculum that will help them to be reused and last for years to come! My students and I greatly appreciate your support and kindness. The students were amazed at all of the items that came in and couldn't wait to begin utilizing the supplies. \r\n The students are using the dry erase markers on daily lesson, along with the glue sticks and erasers that were included in this project. They were so glad we were able to throw way the dried up black dry eraser markers along with the dry erase erasers that would leave black streaks on the boards when they went to erase them. We received chart paper and the students can't wait to use this paper on group projects. They couldn't believe how big the paper was and that they would actually get to use it themselves. \r\n Your continued generosity and support for our classroom is something I can't thank you enough for.
