These topics sparked rich discussions and encouraged students to share their own experiences and wonderings.\r\n\r\nOur morning reading time became a space for curiosity and connection through these stories! Students compared traditions and asked thoughtful questions we continued to learn about new things. It was beautiful to see students gain confidence as they shared about their own families, while also learning to appreciate differences!\r\n\r\nIt makes such a difference to be able to hold the exact book in my hands and read it aloud to my students, rather than searching for a version online that may not fully align with the lesson.
