I often notice students reaching for a stress ball when they feel overwhelmed by a challenging problem. This small intervention helps them self-regulate their emotions and return to the work with renewed focus, making their learning more effective.\r\n\r\nStickers and Snacks: The stickers reinforce positive behavior and effort; students genuinely feel that their efforts are recognized and valued. As for the snacks, as we all know, you can never go wrong with food! It ensures students remain energized and ready to engage throughout our often-intensive Algebra block.\r\n\r\nAnchor Charts and Copy Paper: The anchor charts are incredibly useful! I've already observed students actively looking at the charts on the wall during tests and challenging worksheets. They provide immediate, visual support, which reinforces independent learning. The copy paper allows me to produce customized worksheets and differentiated materials, keeping our lessons highly interactive.\r\n\r\nNoticing the Impact: Progress and Consistency\r\nI am thrilled to report that I am already noticing an increasing progress in the learning gains of my students! This initial success is directly linked to the consistent support and engagement these materials allow me to provide. I sincerely hope this positive trend will be consistent until the end of the school year, and your donations are a key part of that foundation.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for being a champion for my students and for investing in their mathematical success. We are already putting these materials to great use, and I look forward to sharing the final project report with you soon!","fullyFundedDate":1757531188426,"projectUrl":"project/algebra-teaching-interactive-effective/9616730/","projectTitle":"Algebra Teaching: Interactive, Effective, Rewarding, and Entertaining","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kimberly Grace Tiro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9662959_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756576399865","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9662959"},{"teacherId":9989739,"projectId":9223022,"letterContent":"I would like to express my deep appreciation for your valuable donation in order to afford binders for our seniors/juniors students who are mostly struggling with Math skills. Since the books arrived, they couldn't get help but to see and grab copies of the books you donated to \"Reading Resource Hub.\" These books are a good addition to a few books I have since I'm relatively new here in the USA as cultural exchange teacher. \r\n\r\nAll of my classes are reading classes, and I really encourage our students to make it a hobby reading books. They sometimes don't just use these books as enrichment activity, but sometimes they use them for their graded classroom work and group collaborations. My students find it easy to skim and scan these books. They could easily identify the characters and other literary elements as they are relatable. They are also fun to read because they are age-appropriate. This reading hub is such a welcoming space and experience for everyone, especially those who feel and look different because of their skin color and that their true character really matters more. My students have better understanding of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity everytime I ask them the moral of the story. \r\n\r\nThank you for your continued support and more power.","fullyFundedDate":1733234108746,"projectUrl":"project/reading-resource-hub/8770287/","projectTitle":"Reading Resource Hub","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Philip","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9670332_orig.jpg?crop=951,951,x0,y3&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726146989956","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9670332"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_66364","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":2353,"numTeachers":128,"percentFrplEligible":52,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":43,"percentWhite":13,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"18.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":53.8,"schoolId":66364,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Royal Palm Beach Community High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Royal Palm Beach Community High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/palm-beach-county-public-schools/royal-palm-beach-community-high-school/66364"}
