These UpFront Magazines provide students with weekly news that is fun and educational. It is a standards based magazine that teaches them how to develop their thinking in multiple ways. These magazines will give students a chance to see things that they've never seen before and it will allow them to score higher on their exams. This magazine allows students to look at perspectives that they would have never seen elsewhere in order to help them see the world as it is. They gain insight from discussions with their class as well as their reading. This course is a college level class that requires these magazines. Unfortunately the school is unable to provide them to the students this year, so I will be purchasing my own teacher edition to use until I can fund my project. These magazines will give each student and opportunity to build up their information bank to be able to score successfully on their exams.
