Fun Fridays also provide opportunities to practice social-emotional skills, including communication, cooperation, patience, and taking turns. As students work together, they build confidence, strengthen friendships, and learn to celebrate one another's accomplishments.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these activities to reinforce classroom lessons, encourage independence, and help students develop skills they can use in everyday life. As budgets continue to be a concern, simple supplies like printer paper are not provided in abundance. Prior to having my project funded, I was frustrated with the limits put on my ability to print handouts. \r\n\r\nAlthough maps on an electronic device are valuable, but an atlas is a key supply for world geography students.
