Students now have choices in where and how they sit, which helps them stay focused and comfortable. The new pencil sharpeners has also become an essential classroom tool, allowing students to independently take care of their materials without interrupting instruction.\r\n\r\nTheir reaction was pure excitement. When they walked in and saw the new seating, their faces lit up. Many students immediately shared how happy they were to have choices and how the seating made the classroom feel more welcoming The pencil sharpener was also a big hit—students loved being able to sharpen their pencils quickly and quietly on their own.","fullyFundedDate":1758836786468,"projectUrl":"project/creative-corner/9743808/","projectTitle":"Creative Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wallace","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6490370_orig.png?crop=513,513,x37,y52&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1657648880442","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6490370"},{"teacherId":10355665,"projectId":9934910,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the donations to support our classroom. My students are very grateful to receive new take home folders, new zipper pouches, and snacks for the classroom. \r\nMy students were in absolute shock when they received their brand new materials! They loved how durable the plastic on the folders is. They promised to take great care of their folders and ensure they use them every day. \r\nOur next steps for projects is getting new kickball equipment for students to use during recess and to host a fourth grade kickball tournament. Students in the pictures have really enjoyed using the music stand shelves that attach on to the music stand allowing them space to store their violin/viola/cello/bass bow without their bow interfering with where their music is stored on their music stand. They also are able to store pencils and any other small items like rosin for their bow on the music stand shelf during their rehearsals and also during their performances they put on throughout the school year. \r\n\r\nIt really has made a huge difference in helping keep students more organized so they know exactly where to place their bow, pencil or rosin during their orchestra classes with me. Additionally it helps them to be able to focus and concentrate better knowing that they have a space to put all of their smaller orchestra items during orchestra classes and at their performances as well. Prior to having these music stand shelves, the bows would get in the way of their music binders on their music stand, and they couldn't flip through their music binders to find music they are working on, without hte bow interfering. Also trying to store not only a bow, but a pencil and rosin on the music stand was a disaster as there just is not enough storage space for all of that stuff while their music is on the music stand. \r\n\r\nUltimately, students are thrilled to have the extra storage space for all of their orchestra materials (bow, pencil and rosin) and it really has made a tremendous improvement in my orchestra classes. I can't thank you enough for your support and financial backing for this Donors Choose project.","fullyFundedDate":1724083797281,"projectUrl":"project/arco-pizzicato-and-orchestra-oh-my/8598808/","projectTitle":"Arco, Pizzicato and Orchestra...
