Since we don't have access to a lab, the materials were incredibly helpful in making connections between real-life body parts and bone and muscle names. \r\n\r\nIn one example, we learned about lines of the brain by studying Phineas Gage. Students were able to use the model of the brain to track Phineas's injury and discuss how his accident contributed to his personality changes. Other students enjoyed tracking bloodflow through the model heart as we discussed homeostasis!
