Every morning between 200-300 students come to the library before school starts. For them, the library is more than just a place to check it books. It's a place to relax, connect with friends, and get ready for the day. \r\n\r\nThroughout the day we have students drop in during their lunch periods, Academy students waiting to get on the bus to travel to other schools, and students taking online classes. Because the Robinson Library accommodates all students in grades 6-12, we need to ensure we have something for everyone. Students really appreciate the variety of new games, like Rummikub, and relaxation tools, like the paint-with-water Buddha boards. The giant Connect 4 game has been a big hit.\r\n\r\nWith so much of our students' days spent in front of screens, it's really refreshing to see them laughing and engaged with traditional board games.
