My students have been busy completing their daily homework thanks to your generosity. I have heard some pretty nice compliments from the kids. They love doing homework! They get to have authentic work that focuses on their learning goals in a fun format. \r\n\r\nI am so happy that you were able to help me fund this project. I prepared enough binders for all my students. I was able to include a zippered pouch, a big foamy dice, playdough and a white board marker in each binder. I also placed the students target goals, practice pages and fun games. \r\n\r\nStudents are able to pick a goal to work on, such as learning the letters t and p, and then use the binder to play games to practice their skills. I can tell when they practice because they are meeting benchmarks at school. Thank you for making this a possibility! The visual timers, including the colorful sand timers, time timers, and traffic light alarm, have already made a meaningful difference in how I structure lessons and support my students. These tools create a sense of predictability and trust by helping students understand how much time they need to spend on a class activity before earning their preferred activity and how long they get to enjoy it before transitioning back. \r\n\r\nFor many of my students, understanding time concepts can be a challenge, but these tools make it easier to follow routines and build positive behaviors. Without these resources, it is much harder to get students to buy into the reward structure that encourages participation and focus.
