When I am able to offer a snack to those students, they are able to learn better, and they also feel cared for which is just as important.\r\n\r\nI have some students who walk into my room to grab a snack every day. They don't need to ask, they know that they can quietly walk over to my snack bin, grab their snack, and head back to their seat. Other students only need that extra snack every once in awhile, but they know that it's there for when they need it. \r\n\r\nIt may seem small, but the impact is huge.
