Our school is hosting two family nights during our November parent/teacher conferences. We want our families to enjoy their conference experience and have planned two family nights to coincide with our Scholastic book fair! Our theme this year is "Enchanted Forest."
We have planned some fun, enchanted fairy tale activities and games based on our theme to encourage participation of all ages. Students will create most of the invitations and activities which include a forest theme corn-hole toss and guessing games using project boards. Game winners will receive lollipop prizes to add to the fun! Students will use floral foam, twine, Spanish moss, wooden planters and fairy LED lights to create decorations to match our theme. A craft table will be set up for families to color, create and take home crafts that night! Our goal is to turn parent/teacher conferences into a family fun event! All games and crafts supported from this project will be free for families to participate in and will stay in the school for future use or will go home with students!
