It has helped us get the school year started with a burst of color! The students are always so excited to see the new supplies and get to dig into their creativity. We have used the paint to make 3d spinning mobiles in 4th grade and in second grade we learned about George Seurat and his painting technique pointillism. We made fall tree in this style. Another class is learning about color theory and used the paints to complete color wheels. So far I have used the construction paper for a jelly fish project with kinder classes to help practice scissor skills. Our special education classes made some Frida Kahlo portraits for Hispanic Heritage Month using the construction paper and tissue paper. In second grade we used the pens to outline our representational self portraits and the students are looking forward to adding the pony beads to projects when we do our weaving for women's history month.
