We use the spiral notebooks for journaling and for rough drafts of writing. The soft rug is a favorite- it is the perfect size to relax on the floor and read. The Himalayan salt light is great for ambiance. I often tie geography into my teaching, and the map is invaluable. Maps have always drawn me in, and I am giving my love of geography to my students. \r\n\r\nWe are currently reading \"They Called Us Enemy\" by George Takei and are using the materials for vocabulary cards, writing summaries in our spiral notebooks, the map to see locations of Japan, Pearl Harbor, and locations across the United States. My students are struggling readers, so I try to bring literature to life for them. \r\n\r\nYour donation makes SUCH a difference to teachers.
