They were so excited when they saw the new stress balls, fidgets, and calming stickers!\r\n\r\nStudents like to place the stickers on their chrome books so they always have the calming reminder. They also were excited about having different options for stress balls and being able choose their favorite style. \r\n\r\nI also keep some of the stress balls in my cabinet. When I notice a student is having an especially rough day I gift them a special one. It's amazing how something so simple can have such a positive impact. \r\n\r\nHaving these materials on hand also helps with phone use. I can encourage them to exchange their phone for a fidget or stress ball and it's much easier to get phones put away with this type of encouragement.","fullyFundedDate":1758815162105,"projectUrl":"project/fidgets-replace-phones-with-focus-tools/9731813/","projectTitle":"Fidgets: Replace Phones With Focus Tools!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Myers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9248831_orig.jpg?crop=1609,1609,x0,y118&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723751292028","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9248831"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_105148","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":99,"numTeachers":7,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":91,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"10 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"14.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.0,"schoolId":105148,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Respect Academy at Lincoln on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Respect Academy at Lincoln","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/denver-public-school-district-1/respect-academy-at-lincoln/105148"}
