Your support gives them opportunities they wouldn't have otherwise, and we are incredibly grateful.\r\n\r\nThe addition of these laptops has created a tremendous impact on our classroom. Students now have greater access to the digital tools they need for reading, writing, research, and skill-building activities. These devices allow more students to work independently, strengthen their literacy and technology skills, and complete assignments that were previously limited by lack of access.\r\n\r\nThe laptops also make it possible for me to differentiate instruction more effectively; students can rotate through personalized learning programs, receive immediate feedback, and practice at their own pace. For many children, this is the first time they've been able to engage consistently with high-quality digital learning resources.\r\n\r\nBecause of this donation, our classroom is more equitable, more engaging, and far better equipped to prepare students for success in a technology-rich world. The technology allows them to receive immediate feedback, hear text read aloud, and explore lessons visually, which keeps them engaged and motivated.\r\n\r\nStudent Excitement & Impact\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is how hands-on their learning has become. The notebooks and writing tools you provided have already made a meaningful difference in my first-graders' learning, especially during phonics instruction. When the materials arrived, my students were thrilled. Many of them immediately opened their notebooks, tracing the lines with their fingers. For several of my ESOL students, having their own notebook felt extra special, something they could use to take ownership of their learning. We are now using these resources every day during our phonics block. Students practice letter formation, build and break apart words, and complete dictation routines using the new pencils and notebooks. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who usually struggles with engagement eagerly write CVC words during our \"Tap, Map, and Write\" routine. He proudly held up his notebook and said, \"Look! I wrote all of them by myself!\"\r\n\r\nThe new tools have helped students stay organized and focused, and the consistency of having their own dedicated phonics notebook is strengthening their mastery of foundational reading skills. These materials support word-building, phoneme-grapheme mapping, and daily review activities that are essential to early literacy.\r\nOur next steps include using the notebooks for blends, digraphs, and long-vowel patterns, as well as dictation exercises tied to our reading curriculum.
