He uses the weighted blanket every day and it helps him relax when he otherwise would be very anxious and frequently asking to go home. \r\n\r\nSome of our students require the use of fidgets and scented items in order to progress through their daily schedules at school. Students have especially loved painting and using stretchy clay. Some students especially loved the \"paint crayons\" and dot paints. Dot paints have helped students who don't otherwise have the fine motor ability to participate in art and writing to access these activities with a greater level of independence. \r\n\r\nStudents enjoyed making collages with all kinds of materials including pom poms, shapes and sparkles. Several of the games incorporate practicing basic skills such as counting and color, shape or number/letter recognition. \r\n\r\nStudents look forward to weekly game time and enjoy playing. It has allowed me to teach about how map projections are always imperfect, and fascinated even my least engaged students. When I was running jobs, it was hard to get my carpenters to let me know, so this skills is huge. \r\n\r\nThird, it saves us the bigger fee of buying filters. If you use these vacs without bags, the filters go bad in as little as a few days, instead of allowing us to use them all year. \r\n\r\nI am just so grateful for your donations to help out the students!\r\n\r\nI am going to add some photos of our class in our OSHA 10 construction certification (we are getting over 60 students this important certification this year!). I will add a few more of our field trip recently to the University of Washington. Also, some of our students getting their CPR training.
