First graders are just beginning to understand the concepts of adding and subtraction using different methods of solving the same problem. The \"Number of the Day\" magnet poster gives all my students a chance to interact with a partner discussion what method they used to solve the problem. As a teacher, I get busy with other students, learning other concepts. This teaches teamwork and allows for students to understand we all learn using different methods. \r\n\r\nOur dry erase boards, allow for quick reteaching. The students love to use them, and they keep \"all students' engaged at their level of addition and subtraction.
