I love to see my students light up when they accomplish a goal on their program or find an interesting fact during their research. In addition to research and competitions, we use a computer reading program that requires every student to be on for at least 30 minutes a week. Our class can only imagine the time saved from getting our minutes in all at once! And that's only the beginning. These tablets will let my students fly and see themselves grow by using their own two feet. I want them to feel the feeling of success when they get questions right during a quiz. I want them to have a sense of responsibility in the classroom since they each will care for their own tablet. These tablets will benefit students who need extra help with reading, fluency, and math skills. These tablets will allow for each child to develop their reading and math skills independently and allow me better differentiation. The possibilities have us bouncing out of our seat!
