Students use this resource to follow clear, step-by-step visual directions while engaging in hands-on learning with materials such as square tiles, base-ten blocks, place value charts, and even array models. The Flip-N-Tell allows important strategies, models, and routines to be displayed upright and consistently throughout the lesson, making expectations visible and accessible to all learners. During lessons on area, addition with regrouping, multiplication arrays, and place value, students are able to independently reference each step of the problem-solving process while working at their tables. Instead of relying solely on verbal reminders, students can look up, check the visual steps, and continue working with confidence. This has been especially powerful during small-group instruction, where students benefit from structured supports while still building independence.\r\n\r\nOne meaningful classroom moment occurred during a lesson on finding area using square tiles. As students covered shapes and counted tiles, the Flip-N-Tell displayed the steps: covering the shape completely, counting the tiles, and recording the area. Students were able to stay engaged in the task and refer back to the steps without frustration. Similarly, during lessons on addition with regrouping, the Flip-N-Tell showed a clear visual breakdown using base-ten blocks, helping students understand how to combine ones, tens, and hundreds. The consistency of having these visuals displayed helped students maintain focus, follow classroom routines, and apply strategies accurately. For students who benefit from repetition and visual cues, this resource has been invaluable.\r\n\r\nWhen the Flip-N-Tell Display Book-N-Easel was first introduced, students were excited and immediately engaged. Several students were eager to help flip the pages and asked questions about what would be displayed next. They liked having the steps shown while they worked. For students who sometimes feel overwhelmed by multi-step tasks, seeing the information clearly organized and displayed reduced anxiety and increased confidence. The students being able to flip the pages also added an interactive element that captured students' attention and made learning feel more hands-on and engaging. Overall, students showed increased motivation and curiosity when using the Flip-N-Tell, and it quickly became a classroom tool they looked forward to using. Thanks to the generosity, students now have access to a resource that promotes independence, engagement, and success.","fullyFundedDate":1758898782514,"projectUrl":"project/flipping-to-success-visual-supports-for/9651569/","projectTitle":"Flipping to Success: Visual Supports for All Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9753079"},{"teacherId":2849970,"projectId":9719224,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to use the color printer in our classroom. The impact it has had on our students' writing has been nothing short of transformative, and I wanted to take a moment to share how much it has meant to both the students and myself.\r\n\r\nBefore we had access to color printing, students' written work was often presented in simple black and white. While their ideas were always creative and thoughtful, the visual aspect of their writing did not always reflect the energy or imagination they poured into their work. Now, with the ability to incorporate vibrant colors, fonts, and images, their writing has truly come alive.","fullyFundedDate":1758899087586,"projectUrl":"project/help-our-students-bring-their-ideas-to-l/9719224/","projectTitle":"Help Our Students Bring Their Ideas to Life","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Olt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2849970"},{"teacherId":2849970,"projectId":9719113,"letterContent":"On behalf of our entire class, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of headphones.
