The supplies we received—copy paper, laminating sheets, markers, and Lysol wipes—may seem simple, but they are essential resources that allow our classroom to run smoothly and keep our learning environment clean, organized, and ready for learning.\r\n\r\nMy students were excited to see our new supplies arrive because they knew it meant we could create more hands-on learning materials and classroom activities. We have been using the paper and laminating sheets to create durable graphic organizers, learning tools, games, and reference materials that students can use throughout the year. One of our favorite moments has been preparing new learning activities together and seeing students excited to use materials that were created specifically to support their learning needs.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue using these resources to support upcoming reading, writing, and math lessons. We are especially looking forward to creating more interactive materials, student projects, and review activities as we continue building skills and preparing for the remainder of the school year.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us give our classroom the mid-year refresh it needed! My students were so excited when they first saw it. They immediately gathered around it, eager to sit, talk, and learn together. What may seem like a simple rug has created a welcoming space where my students feel comfortable, connected, and ready to participate.\r\n\r\nWe use our rug every day during whole-group lessons, morning meetings, read-alouds, partner discussions, and small-group activities. One of my favorite moments has been watching my students gather together during reading lessons. They are able to turn and talk with their classmates, share their thinking, and listen to different perspectives in a space that feels warm and inviting.\r\n\r\nThe rug has also helped create a stronger sense of community. Instead of learning from their individual desks all day, my students now have a special place where we can come together as a classroom family. They love being able to sit close to one another and celebrate each other's ideas and accomplishments.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue using this space for our current reading and writing work, collaborative projects, and class discussions. I am especially excited to use the rug as we encourage students to become more confident readers, thoughtful writers, and respectful collaborators.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and giving my students a space where they can learn, connect, and grow together.
