Our classroom library and fidget tools have become an essential part of our daily learning. Students now choose books during independent reading time that truly interest them, which has increased both stamina and excitement for reading. The fidget toys are used intentionally during lessons to help students stay focused during read-alouds, writing time, and small-group instruction. One special moment was watching a student who usually struggles to sit still remain engaged through an entire reading lesson while quietly using a fidget—something that hadn't happened before.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, we did an unboxing together. The classroom was filled with excitement! They felt proud, trusted, and valued knowing these materials were meant to help them learn. Many students said, \"I can't wait to read this!\" and \"This helps me concentrate!\"\r\n\r\nFor our next steps, students will use these resources as we continue building reading comprehension and independent learning skills. They will apply reading strategies with books they're excited about and practice self-regulation by choosing the right tools to support their learning.
