Your kindness has truly transformed our learning space into a more inviting and comfortable environment for my Pre-K students. The addition of the rug has created a warm, welcoming area where children are excited to gather, explore books, and engage with one another. It has already made a meaningful impact by encouraging more students to spend time in the library area, fostering both a love of reading and a sense of community.\r\nDuring circle time, the rug has become an essential part of our daily routine. It provides a defined, cozy space where students can sit together, focus, and actively participate in lessons, songs, and discussions. My students, especially those with disabilities, have responded incredibly well to this addition. The soft, structured seating area helps them feel more secure and supported, making it easier for them to engage, stay regulated, and be included alongside their peers. I have noticed increased participation, improved attention, and more positive social interactions as a result.\r\nLooking ahead, I plan to continue using the rug as a foundation for building important early learning skills. My Pre-K students will use this space to practice listening during story time, and collaborative activities. As they grow more comfortable, I will incorporate small group instruction on the rug to further support their development. Your thoughtful contribution is helping to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive. Thank you again for making such a lasting difference in our students' daily learning experiences.","fullyFundedDate":1767322499501,"projectUrl":"project/comfy-learning/9679319/","projectTitle":"Comfy Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Perez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8705620"},{"teacherId":9141597,"projectId":9945453,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation!! As a second grade class, we have been working on reading fluently and reading uncontrolled texts. While decodable texts are always great to help our students learn the initial skills of reading, books where different reading skills are combined help our students read more fluently. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, decodable books tend to be more informational and are not always topics that hold our students' interest. Since getting our new library, students feel like reading time is a reward for their hard work. Students have been excited to finish their work so they can take a trip to our bookshelf and read the brand new books. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping us inspire our students to love reading!","fullyFundedDate":1767218656623,"projectUrl":"project/reading-ready-2nd-graders/9945453/","projectTitle":"Reading Ready 2nd Graders!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9141597"},{"teacherId":26320,"projectId":6019601,"letterContent":"Having headphones allowed my students to access the technology more efficiently and effectively. Each student was able to stay hydrated throughout the school day, which kept them more attentive physically and mentally. They took pride in having their own reusable water bottle. Students would take their bottles home to clean them and refill them and then bring them back to school the next day.\r\n\r\nHaving water bottles cut down with students asking to leave the room to go get water. It also helped keep students cool when they entered rooms that had no air-conditioning. All in all, I was happy about having this project fulfilled because it also kept students away from water fountains where germs sometimes spread and sometimes water can be contaminated due to old pipes. \r\n\r\nUnfortunately I do not have any photographs as this project was fulfilled years ago.
