We use the laptop everyday to present lessons to our class. We also love to use it to showcase students writing. The love sitting front and center and reading their work projected on the big screen from the laptop.\r\n\r\nMy students are also using the laptop to support their learning with songs and videos. They have especially watched many Math videos to help them learn the different concepts as we lead up to the math state tests. We are now able to read about an explorer on one page and click up a picture of them on the other in seconds. Your generosity has made a huge difference in how we bring learning to life every day.\r\nHow we're using the new resources:\r\nWe are now able to print colorful anchor charts, student work samples, and reading passages for small group instruction. The printed visuals help my students better understand key concepts—especially when we're working on reading skills like main idea, text features, and summarizing. It's been wonderful to see how much more engaged they are when they can hold and annotate printed materials.\r\nA special classroom moment:\r\nOne of our favorite moments was when we printed full-color reading task cards for our \"Reading Detectives\" mystery lesson. The students were thrilled to see their work displayed and to use real printed clues in their investigation. It turned a simple reading lesson into a hands-on experience that everyone wanted to be part of!\r\nStudents' reactions:\r\nWhen my students saw the bright, colorful materials for the first time, they cheered! Several said, \"It looks just like a real book!\" and \"Can we keep these for our folders?\" Their excitement reminded me how powerful simple tools like ink and color can be in motivating young learners.\r\nNext steps for our learning:\r\nWe're currently working on a writing project where students publish their own short stories. Thanks to your donation, we'll be able to print and bind each student's story so they can take home their \"published\" books. Your contribution continues to inspire creativity and pride in their learning.\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and helping us make every lesson brighter and more meaningful!","fullyFundedDate":1666787221172,"projectUrl":"project/ink-ink-ink/6911550/","projectTitle":"Ink, Ink, Ink","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Heredia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3615045_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1522286581435","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3615045"},{"teacherId":424407,"projectId":9232591,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing breakfast for some hungry students.
