One student even whispered, \"Is this really for us to keep?\" It was a beautiful moment that reinforced how much they feel valued and supported by the community.\r\n\r\nCurrently, these resources are the heart of our latest literacy project, where students are using the resources. They now have an area that they can sit comfortably and read with minimal disturbances. We recently had a \"breakthrough moment\" when a struggling reader successfully used the new tactile tools ( table dots) to write blends and to sound out a sentence independently for the first time, beaming with pride at their accomplishment. Looking ahead, our next steps involve integrating these materials into our small-group guided reading sessions to help bridge the gap in phonics skills.
