The cardstock and laminating sheets were used to make sturdy front covers that will help keep the journals protected and looking nice throughout the entire school year. The spirals made it easy to bind the journals together so students can comfortably use them during daily reading and writing activities. One special moment was seeing the students' excitement when they received their completed journals and realized they would have their own special place to respond to stories, practice writing skills, and track their learning all year long.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the journals, they were eager to flip through the pages and begin writing right away. They were so proud seeing clearly labeled bins and enjoyed helping organize the room.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were excited because everything looked neat, easy to access, and more welcoming.
