A goal of our grade level is to incorporate STEAM into our daily routine. We are working on putting together STEAM tubs that the students will use each day as part of their daily routine. Each small group of students is assigned one STEAM tub each week. Throughout our day there will be designated time for purposeful play with the STEAM tubs. This is a set time for students to create meaningful hands-on explorations, develop communication skills by sharing ideas with each other, and creatively express themselves. With these STEAM tubs, these students will create brand new experiences that will benefit their lives outside of school and will allow students to "stretch" their brains and think outside of the box.
