High school schedules are demanding, and many students find themselves losing energy between long blocks or missing meals due to various circumstances.\r\n\r\nBy providing a reliable source of snacks during bell transitions, you did more than just fill stomachs; you boosted morale and improved classroom focus. Students knew they had a place to go for a 'pick-me-up' without judgment. This project ensured that our learners remained fueled, focused, and felt cared for by their community. The simple act of providing a snack allowed our students to walk into their next period ready to succeed rather than distracted by hunger.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting your schools and all the students that consider school their \"other home\". I truly believe that the environment that students have to learn in has a huge impact. The overhead lights in my classroom are not only overly bright but also add heat to an already packed classroom. These lights make for a much more comfortable, learning friendly setting! \r\n\r\nStudents are able to adjust the setting of each lamp in their area. This helps them learn how to cooperate with their peers and be considerate of others needs as well. Since these lamps are rechargeable it gives several students the opportunity to to show ownership and responsibility by taking on the task of charging them and placing them back where they are needed. \r\n\r\nMy students thought they were so cool when they first saw them and one of my shyest students stopped as she entered and said \"wow, I really like those!\" \r\n\r\nThank you again for your continued support to make our classroom a better place!","fullyFundedDate":1760920207570,"projectUrl":"project/let-there-be-light/9567191/","projectTitle":"Let There Be Light!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Dumont","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7477784_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753055755665","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7477784"},{"teacherId":7477784,"projectId":9676022,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom.
