Having the interactive games will increase the student's reading levels which in turn will instill the student to want to read more because they will have the necessary reading skills and strategies to assist them on their educational path. My students will be able to work independently at the reading centers. In the centers, there are opportunities to have students work on team building skills. One example of a successful center is two students working together where a more proficient student is peer coaching a lower level reader to improve their reading level. The games will allow students to collaborate with others while playing the games. The reading centers will reinforce the strategies that were taught in class.
