Opening our boxes together was exciting and the kids' faces lit up when they saw the variety of costumes. Students were able to put on their costumes and read with a reading buddy (stuffed animal) over several days. We had a SuperDay of reading to kick off our activities and then students were assigned to go home and discuss their books with a family member. \r\n\r\nI am moving to teach middle school, but have left the materials with our librarian who is going to be able to utilize the materials not only with our 2nd graders as they come to the library, but other grade levels as well, reaching more kids!
