Students love using the perch stools during writing and math because the gentle rocking helps them focus, while the floor stools are perfect for book clubs and group discussions. Recently, students gathered their hexagon stools into a circle for a shared reading activity—it created such an inviting space that everyone wanted a turn to read aloud. The electric pencil sharpeners have also been a huge hit, saving us so much time and keeping our pencils ready for learning without interruptions.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first walked in and saw the new materials, their reactions were priceless. They rushed to try the perch stools, laughing and smiling as they discovered the rocking motion. Others tested out different ways to arrange the floor stools so they could sit together. The sharpeners were instantly put to use, as well.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to support our projects in reading, writing, math, social studies, and collaborative learning.
