They are brilliant little learners who are so curious and constantly asking questions.\r\nThese resources have enhanced my classroom centers and given them tools to explore their curiosity about animals, cooking and baking, and constructing words and vehicles.\r\nThey have learned about the life cycle of a chicken while in a chicken coop caring for chickens and collecting eggs. They have explored the various stages a baby chicken goes through while waiting to hatch. They have explored being a chef and baker using resources that resemble real life items they would find at home. They have explored their budding literacy skills and architect skills at the light table while building pre-primer Dolch site words and penguin habitats. Students have gotten to pretend to be mechanics as they build and restore construction vehicles.\r\nThere are endless possibilities of who they will grow up to be. Your dedication and collaboration make a significant difference in the lives of our students, and I am truly grateful for the role you play in helping us create a positive and productive learning environment.\r\n\r\nMy students come with a wide variety of needs—academic, social, emotional, and sensory. Each child brings a unique set of strengths, challenges, and ways of interacting with the world, which makes it essential for me to be able to accommodate their individual needs. Meeting these needs requires intentional planning, flexibility, and a deep understanding of each student's learning style and personality. Your support allows me to provide the structure and resources necessary for our students to thrive.\r\n\r\nA critical part of our work this year focuses on self-regulation. For many of my students, the ability to regulate their bodies and emotions directly impacts their capacity to engage with learning. When students feel calm, safe, and supported, their minds are open and ready to absorb new information, practice new skills, and explore their creativity. You play an essential role in this process by helping create an environment where regulation is prioritized, whether that means guiding a student through a sensory break, helping redirect attention, or providing encouragement and reassurance during challenging moments.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, our classroom is a place where social and emotional growth is equally important. Learning to work together, communicate effectively, manage frustration, and celebrate successes are all skills that lay the foundation for lifelong success. Your contributions help foster a classroom culture that emphasizes empathy, patience, and collaboration. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAs the year continues, I look forward to building on this strong foundation. I am confident that, with your support and contribution, I can help my students reach new levels of growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Thank you again for all that you did to help make my classroom a safe, nurturing, and engaging place for learning. Your donation truly makes a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1746058526376,"projectUrl":"project/peaceful-pathways-supporting-sensory-ne/9293658/","projectTitle":"Peaceful Pathways: Supporting Sensory Needs for Bright Futures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Linzie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8593440_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745948401016","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8593440"},{"teacherId":2442051,"projectId":9087194,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation!
