When the magnet tiles and Play-Doh arrived, my students were so excited. Their faces lit up as they explored the materials for the first time. During our choice time and Fun Fridays, students have been using the magnet tiles to build creative structures like houses, towers, and even small cities. They love working together and sharing ideas while building. The Play-Doh has also been a big hit, allowing students to create shapes, animals, and different designs while strengthening their fine motor skills.\r\n\r\nThese materials have helped make our choice time more meaningful and engaging. I've noticed students collaborating more, using their imagination, and practicing important skills like problem-solving and teamwork. One of my favorite moments was watching a group of students work together to build a tall tower with the magnet tiles. They discussed which pieces would make the structure stronger and celebrated together when it stayed standing.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using these resources, students will keep exploring their creativity while building social and motor skills. We will also begin incorporating the materials into small group activities where students can design structures together and explain their thinking. Your generosity has truly made a positive impact in our classroom, and my students are so grateful for these fun and engaging learning opportunities.
