Students have been enjoying reading these books. They will be used for many years in my class. They complete read along guides and at the end of the year will enjoy watching the movie based on the events described in the book. \r\n\r\nReading is a double edged sword in the best way. The students on one side are learning about historic events. On the other side they are learning new vocabulary and exercising their imaginations. The students were so excited when I unboxed the globes 7th period. They have immediately become a favorite post-work option. \r\n\r\nI use this as a post-work option for when they have free time. It is one of their favorite choices. They also use these globes to help learn to pronounce words, and gain facts for research assignments.
