Your donations have already made a meaningful difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when they first saw the new flexible seating resources. They immediately wanted to try everything out! We are using the seating during small-group instruction, independent work, partner activities, and science learning stations. The flexible seating gives students the opportunity to find a space where they can feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments has been watching students transition into small groups and confidently choose a seating option that works best for them. Instead of feeling like they have to sit in one traditional spot, they are learning how to make responsible choices that support their learning. The resources have helped make our small-group time more engaging and intentional.\r\n\r\nOur next step is continuing our 3rd grade learning through hands-on science activities, small-group instruction, and collaborative projects. With these new resources, students have a classroom environment that supports movement, collaboration, and focused learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping create a classroom where they can learn, grow, and thrive!","fullyFundedDate":1781710970758,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-for-focused-small-group/10248276/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating for Focused Small Group Learning in 3rd Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. G","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9276420_orig.jpg?crop=538,538,x55,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1694633982457","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9276420"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_122344","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":237,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":96,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"K - 1","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":63.8,"schoolId":122344,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Perea Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Perea Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/tennessee/memphis-shelby-county-schools/perea-elementary-school/122344"}
