Although the supplies arrived after Christmas, we were able to thoughtfully repurpose each item in meaningful ways for our students. Because of your generosity, our class received gloves during the unexpected arctic blast that left parts of Florida in single-digit temperatures, enjoyed a special snack on Valentine's Day, and will be receiving a squishy and drawing tablet for Easter.\r\n\r\nWorking in a Title I school, I see every day how much students truly appreciate even the smallest gestures. The excitement and gratitude on their faces were priceless. Many of my students were especially thankful for the gloves to keep their hands warm, and we were even fortunate enough to have a few extra pairs to send home for siblings. This technology has already had a powerful impact on my classroom. The SMART Board allows lessons to be interactive rather than passive-my students can touch, move, and manipulate content on the screen instead of just watching or listening. Whether we are solving math problems, exploring vocabulary, or reviewing concepts together, the SMART Board gives my students the opportunity to be actively involved in the learning process, which has led to increased focus, participation, and excitement.\r\n\r\nThis technology provides movement, visual supports, and hands-on learning for all students. Many of my students struggle to stay engaged during traditional lessons, but with the SMART Board, they now show increased motivation and confidence. They love coming up to the board to drag answers, play review games, and collaborate to solve problems.
