I work at a Title I school, so many of my students do not have access to appropriate books at home. Providing them with an adequate classroom library is essential to spark their passion for reading. Although they have access to the school library, they only have time to go once a week, so if they finished their books they only have my classroom library. Also, many of the books they want like the "Dog Man Series" are always checked out. Having books like these in my classroom will allow my students to read books they want compared to their last resort choices, which are books they have no interest in or have already read. Please consider helping my students spark their passion for reading.
