Their eyes lit up as they realized they could cut, connect, and design using just cardboard and their imagination. We began with a collaborative project where small groups created their own inventions, from robots to vehicles, and they worked together eagerly, problem-solving along the way. The joy and creativity in the room were contagious, as they explored how to use the tools and the capabilities of the saw, screwdriver, fold roller and plastic screws. Our next step is to take these skills further by designing larger, themed projects where students plan, build, and present their creations, helping them practice teamwork, engineering, and communication skills in a fun, hands-on way.
