Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our classroom and in my students' lives.\r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, my students now have greater agency over their learning and a sense of pride and excitement in having their own school supplies. Many of them previously did not have consistent access to these materials at home, so this project has helped bridge that gap in a powerful way. I was able to create take-home binders filled with essential tools, including sight word cards, allowing students to practice and reinforce their learning with their parents and guardians.\r\n\r\nThis has not only supported their academic growth, but has also sparked positive conversations about learning at home and at school, and about the power of giving. My students are more motivated, confident, and eager to share what they are practicing outside of the classroom. Seeing their joy and increased engagement has been incredibly rewarding.\r\nThank you again from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and for believing in my students. These materials have already made a big difference for us!\r\n\r\nMy students are loving the magnetic tiles during centers. They've been building towers and simple structures, and it's been great to see them working together and staying engaged. One of my students even joined a group activity on their own, which was a really big moment.\r\n\r\nWe've also been using the pincer grasp tweezers in sorting and sensory activities. The kids were so excited to try them, and it's been a fun way to work on fine motor skills while practicing colors at the same time.\r\n\r\nThe blocking pads have been very helpful for staff safety. They've made it easier for us to support students during tough moments while keeping everyone safe and calm.\r\n\r\nWhen I first introduced everything, the excitement was immediate. They were so eager to jump in and explore.\r\n\r\nNext, we're going to keep using these materials to work on color recognition, sorting, and building with more structure during centers and small groups.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible for my students!","fullyFundedDate":1769464724024,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-supplies/9982819/","projectTitle":"Special Education Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Poage","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10396776"},{"teacherId":9000798,"projectId":9393703,"letterContent":"Our students in my music classroom are especially grateful to receive the supplies to make sure our classroom is set up for success! I am now able to create resources for all grade levels on campus, to be used throughout the year, and every year to come! \r\n\r\nThe most recent item I've used from this donation is the book binder, and the paper cutter to create reusable booklets for students to practice reading and writing rhythms. This resource can be used with all grade levels because of the template I created. The reusable dots provide a space for students that I tutor to work out their math problems, the pegboard supplies have provided an incentive wall for all students to choose a reward for their above and beyond behavior, and the reusable zipper pouches provide ready-to-go materials for groups!\r\n\r\nMy favorite reaction has to be when one of my 5th grade student sees all of the new classroom supplies and manipulatives that were made, and he said \"Are these new? These are amazing! Someone must really love us!\" \r\n\r\nAfter 6 years at my previous campus, having to move to a new campus this year caused quite a bit of stress.
