The new chair pocket are great because they have a dark background color with colors that match the decor of the classroom. The chair pockets help my students keep papers, journals, earphones, and more organized. This leaves them with their entire desk space to do their classwork. It also helps our class have a neat and tidy look to it. \r\n\r\nThe materials we received for our Calming Corner, enhanced that space from the previous year. The posters with ideas and steps for how to be calm and the reason why being clam when stressed is important, was helpful. The lamp and the other items also matched the decor of the classroom and the Calming Corner materials. My students love to visit that area even when they are not in need of it. I find that they enjoy using the materials and just relaxing in that area. When my students are relaxed it helps them engage more in their classroom activities. \r\n\r\nThe Teachers Pay Teachers gift card was instrumental in me revamping my Student-Led Conference materials. I was able to purchase Google Slides and other digital resources that I could print. This was especially helpful ,since I had some of the same students the previous year. It was refreshing to use new resources. The resources also had Google Slides that I could present to briefly remind families about the Student-Led conference process before we began the conferences. The resources enabled students to better communicate their learning and goals to their families\r\n\r\nThank you for your donation to my project. All of the new resources were great and can be used for many years to come. I appreciate your generosity and kindness towards my students.","fullyFundedDate":1755711949533,"projectUrl":"project/replenish-and-reimagine/9607824/","projectTitle":"Replenish and Reimagine","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Alston","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5574375_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x510,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1644301549327","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5574375"},{"teacherId":3035605,"projectId":9767408,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support and generosity toward my classroom. I truly appreciate the opportunity to continue growing and improving the experiences I provide for my students.\r\nMy students are amazing, and I am always looking for ways to help them build their endurance for sports in fun and engaging ways. This year, our school was fortunate to have a PE teacher join us for a few months, and her passion and creativity have inspired me to introduce new physical education activities to my students.\r\nThe materials you purchased for me,the S&S Worldwide Gator Skin Junior Dodgeballs and a soccer cones set, has allowed my students to participate in a variety of PE games that we've learned this year. More importantly, these tools have helped me encourage regular exercise and promote a healthy love of physical activity.\r\nI always want my students to understand how important it is to take care of themselves and to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. I have always loved sports, and it means so much to me to share that enthusiasm and help my students discover the joy of being active.\r\nThank you again for your kindness and support. It truly makes a difference in the lives of my students. These materials will be used for years to come, I really appreciate you helping our community. As we near fall break, I can say that we have used so many of these supplies on a daily basis! The easels have been so fun for our painting projects, and the liquid water colors have been a blast to work with. Students use the tempera paint sticks daily! We recently used them to make leaf prints and it was so exciting to see the textures rub off on the papers. I personally use the blue paint tape every day to hang up the amazing artwork that the students are making. The block area is a lot brighter with the rainbow arches and peg people and I have seen peg people appear in all different center areas in very creative ways!
