The students are able to learn by observing adult modeling or their peer models. They are able to practice their fine motor skills, crossing midline, and using both hands simultaneously. One of my students favorites was the color changing lights that we have set up all around our classroom. When it is a student's birthday, they get to chose which color they want the lights to be. In addition, they like having the main lights off sometimes and the color changing lights on while they are working on their chromebooks. It helps them feel more relaxed and able to focus.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the dry erase boards and canvas boards have been a great blessing to my students' learning. Part of our daily morning routine includes the students using their white boards to write their own sentences using our high frequency/vocabulary words of the week. The students are very engaged during this activity and it helps me see the progress of their writing in a quick manner. My students have also painted on canvas boards for a fall and winter activity.
