With one teacher guide and two student books, I was able to provide targeted Tier 3 math intervention to students who needed additional support with foundational multiplication skills. Using these materials in small groups helped students build confidence and fluency, and their growth was evident as many required less support over time.\r\n\r\nMy students were excited when they first received the materials and were eager to begin working with them. Since the project's completion, I have collected data showing strong student growth, which allowed me to advocate for additional materials and staff training. We are trying to expand our monarch butterfly garden for our students and community. The monarch butterfly is very special in our community. The hose will be so helpful for watering our garden. One water faucet is broken, and we were in desperate need of a longer hose, which we were able to do.. The caterpillar kit is a big hit in all of our classrooms. The caterpillars are doubling in size and spinning their cocoons. The caterpillars visited the 3rd and 5th grades today. The students were very excited and wanted to have the caterpillars watch while they worked on their English Language Arts vocabulary words. The shovels were used to begin repotting vegetables into larger planters and eventually harvesting for our community, that are in desperate need of food.
