It has made a huge impact on the lives of several students. The students who use it every day were so excited when they first saw all of the hair supplies!! There is one student who gets her hair done almost every morning before school, and several other students who use these materials throughout the day. The teachers, office staff, and nurses, who manage the supplies and help students learn these hygiene skills, were so excited to see the hygiene products we can teach students how to use and have available to them. \r\n\r\nEvery morning before school, a few students come into the nurse's office after breakfast and brush their teeth. Some of the student's also get their hair done using the supplies from your donation. Other students come throughout the day to get the supplies that they need or get their hygiene needs met with the assistance of the nursing and office staff. \r\n\r\nOne of the students who uses the care closet every day is in my class. This program has been extremely beneficial for her. Her reading teacher and I both noticed a huge change in her behavior after we started this program. Her mornings are starting off so much more positive now that she is getting some personal adult attention in the morning and is coming to class clean and put together. Other teachers have noticed similar positive changes and pride in their students who use the Care Closet. \r\n\r\nI truly cannot thank you enough for your donation and for helping me make this program a reality.
