They read together a chapter and we are on chapter 6. They tend to hate and love this character because of the way he is. They are learning characterization, plot, writing literary summaries for chapters, and even developing some one pagers for chapter 1 or 2.\r\n\r\nThe students read with a partner called reciprocal reading. I walk around the room and see if they're reading or listening as their partner reads.
